Building Bridges with YEP!

I’m happy to say that work has began this week on behalf of my neighbours at the Findhorn Foundation; as part of their ‘Building Bridges’ impulse.

The Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) brings eight 16-19 year olds into the Finsdhorn community on a weekly basis for 12 weeks in a specially designed programme that brings them into contact with the rhythms of community life, as well as with nature through projects in Cullerne Gardens, various work departments and through bespoke experiential learning sessions.

I’m happy to co-facilitate the ‘Youth Empowerment Program’; a ‘care-farming’ approach in collaboration with Action for Children and Moray Council.

‘YEP’ is just the kind of attitude we need in serving the next generation!  Now to get our hands in the soil for a few weeks…
